Tower Hamlets community credit union is a community owned and controlled financial cooperative.

As a social enterprise we strive to improve and enhance the social, financial and economic well being of members by promoting sensible savings, prudent borrowing and affordable repayments on loans.

We also strongly encourage community spirit and ownership and promote democratic participation of “one member one vote” regardless of the value of your savings with us.

Our philosophy is the concept of human development expressed through people working together to achieve a better life for themselves and the community.

The Credit Union delivers its service from three branches and is planning to open another branch office in 2006/7.
