The Western Union Service is an additional service offered to members and the general public. The Service is delivered under the Western Union brand, which is internationally recognised and is offered in 350 countries throughout the world. Apart from the normal western union benefits including bonus points or reduced fees for next day and two day transfers the Credit Union offers additional rewards to CU members.

Money transfer allows the speedy transfer or collection of money. This is a welcome addition to our product range since Tower Hamlets has a very diverse community and many individuals are now able to send money to their loved ones or receive emergency cash in an instant.

The service also allows members the ability to send and receive money whilst conducting other CU services in safe and convenient locations. All three branches offer the service and members are refunded a portion of the commission paid to the CU.
